Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services for the community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it can be alarmed concerning the large variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area each day. The support stage created for intervention ordeals a substantial influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to enable the servicing of all prospects and maximize use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
